UWG Wins 16 Print Quality Awards in State, International Competitions

UWG’s Department of Publications and Printing took home a slew of awards during a recent competition of the Printing and Imaging Association of Georgia.

The department competed in Division 1, for organizations with one to nine employees. It won 15 state awards. It also won an international award from the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association for the President’s holiday card.

The winners were selected from 614 entries submitted by 42 print and graphic arts schools and companies. The trade association “awards the most impressive combinations of technology and craftsmanship in Georgia's printing, imaging and finishing community,” according to PIAG’s website.

Three of the projects will go on compete in the Printing Industries of America national awards.
