A New Look for A New West

UWG has undergone some serious changes in the last few years. With a new UWG theme and logo and changes in departments, it only seems right to end the year with the new bookstore facility and Starbucks.

The new bookstore is conveniently located at the TLC intersection. We recently explored the inside of the store and it is amazing. All of the staff are so nice and willing to help you find exactly what you need or answer any questions. There is wall to wall merchandise including new Greek and UWG wear, exercise clothes, blankets, banners, as well as affordable items for your dorm room, classroom or office. In addition to the books being upstairs there is also a desk for online ordering and test prep books for the GRE, GACE, MCAT and more.

On the outside of the bookstore there is also a brand new Einstein Brothers. It is a cozy cafe that serves hot and cold sandwiches and bagels along with other delicious drinks and snack choices. Keep in mind that their hours of operation are 7:00am-2:00pm.



Another great addition is the Starbucks! Although, it is not a new building it is still a new facility that was developed during the remodeling of the library. The Starbucks has indoor and outdoor seating in the forms of tables, chairs and benches. It has all of the same amenities that you would find at a local Starbucks except for a few Cd's and books. Plus, Starbucks gift cards will be accepted.

If you have not been inside any of the new facilities please check them out and do not worry we will be there for both the grand opening of the bookstore and the finished library soon. As you can see-- when you Go West, amazing things happen.
