Every year Carrollton celebrates Independence Day in style, and this year is no different. The Carrollton People's Parade will be held on July 3, 2011 at 10:00 am.
Make plans to join West Georgia's largest parade! Line-up will begin around 9:00 am and will follow the typical Dairy Queen to Kmart Route. The parade consists of floats and representatives from local businesses (small/large), churches, civic organizations, individuals, and the schools' bands. For more information contact Rebecca L. If you are interested in assisting with making UWG the star of the parade please contact Danielle Tackett at dtackett@westga.edu. She is looking for volunteers to help take the Go West theme to new heights. We encourage students, faculty, staff and alumni to help create a theme, build the float and walk in the parade.
