University of Calgary prof uses Twitter to teach Shakespeare

If "brevity is the soul of wit," as Shakespeare wrote, then the University of Calgary students who are using Twitter to study his works must surely be among the smartest at school.

English 205 is an introduction to the works of the Bard, and students are using the social media site as they delve into his plays and sonnets.

Professor Michael Ullyot said that in using Twitter, his students are learning to communicate like Shakespeare: making a big impact with few words.
