Keith Pacholl, UWG associate professor of history and a specialist in early American history, will present "How George Washington Defined the Presidency," in celebration of Constitution Day on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. in Ingram Library. Pacholl will explore Washington's perceptions of the presidency and show how his views were influenced by political, economic, and diplomatic developments of the 1790s. Furthermore, his lecture will demonstrate how Washington laid the foundation for presidential behavior.
