Members Needed for UWG Residential Board

If you live on the UWG campus and want to play a role in the quality of life here, now you have a chance.

The Residential Community Judicial Board (RCJB) is looking for members for the 2011-12 academic year. The board’s job is to uphold community living standards and expectations through peer review. It reviews incidents of misconduct and recommends sanctions, where appropriate. Selected board members will receive training before serving.

The board functions as an extension of Housing and Residence Life. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled full-time and in good academic standing (not on academic probation). They must be living on campus in a residence hall, apartment, the University Suites or in Greek Village.

Students currently serving as Resident Assistants (RAs) are not eligible. Priority will be given to applicants who apply by Friday, Sept. 30, 2011. However, applications will be reviewed until positions are filled.

Interested students should contact Luis Player-Delgado, graduate assistant for Student Conduct, Housing and Residence Life, at Strozier Hall, Main Room 212, or lplayer@westga.edu or 678-839-5229.
