If you're thinking of pursuing
an MBA, the University of West Georgia is offering a free event that can help
you get started. UWG's Richards College of Business will hold a GMAT
workshop on Wednesday, April 18 at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the
public. The workshop will be presented by Kendra Mullick of Kaplan Test
Prep and Admissions, and will teach how to prepare for the GMAT, the entrance exam that measures verbal,
mathematical, analytical and writing skills. Graduate programs use the test to
assess prospective students' qualifications for advanced study in business and
management. Scores are good for five years, so exam takers can begin their
studies immediately or in the future. Mullick will explain how to prepare
for the GMAT, the different question types and how to increase your score. To
register, go to www.westga.edu/business/events,
click on the GMAT Workshop listing, then go to the upper right area of the page
and click Register.
