Episodes in Sexuality

Welcome to Perdition, a town full of disease and hopelessness and the setting for this year’s Episodes in Sexuality. It is here that a young woman named Amelia will experience the darker side of life in this film noir horror story. Follow Amelia’s harrowing journey as she learns to embrace her sexuality and to stand up to those who threaten her innocence. Along the way she will encounter those who will set out to help her and those that want to prey upon her. Though Perdition is a world set apart for the unclean, is it any different from the so-called pure world? The University of West Georgia Theatre Company and the Responsible Sexuality Committee has returned for its 21st year to bring you Episodes in Sexuality: Respect Your Body and Sexuality. Director and senior Theatre major Matt Suwalski (Woodstock) incorporates expressionism and stylized movement to create a dark and gritty environment to confront issues regarding sexuality to college students.

Join the cast in an unforgettable experience of lust and passion. The ensemble cast includes Alex Llambes (Hiram), Kenya White (Ringgold), Jay Mitchell (Macon), Rachel Nastrom (Woodstock), Gabrielle Benson (Chicago), Callie McNew (McDonough), and Sarah Reichenbach (Johns Creek).

Episodes in Sexuality will run in the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts Dangle Theatre from March 12-15 at 7:30. This student produced show is FREE for all of the community and FREE with your UWG student I.D. The show does contain adult situations and language.
