Georgia WebMBA Ranks High-Quality and Affordable

Get Educated.com recently released their 2010 rankings of graduate business schools that offer the best values in online MBAs that are Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accredited. The Georgia WebMBA ranks as the 29th most affordable MBA program for online students nationwide.

The online business degree rankings are based on a national survey of 69 AACSB-accredited business schools that offer 133 master’s in business administration using Distance Learning Technology.

The average cost for an online master’s in business is $32,926.

“Cost is the number one factor that keeps working Americans from enrolling in higher education,” said Vicky Phillips, founder of GetEducated.com.

The University of West Georgia’s Richards College of Business is part of the Georgia WebMBA, and offers highly qualified students the ability to earn an accredited master’s of business administration degree in a convenient and flexible online setting. The Georgia WebMBA consists of highly qualified professors from six University System of Georgia institutions, of which UWG is included.

The program includes a two-day orientation held at the beginning of the program, after which all class work is exclusively online. The program length is five semesters, with two courses per semester.

The fall 2011 program begins on Aug. 17, 2011, with orientation on Aug. 12-13. The application deadline for fall 2011 is Aug. 1, and space is limited, so applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

“The WebMBA offers online learners nationwide a chance at a high-quality graduate business degree through distance learning at around half the cost of the national average,” said Phillips. “That’s a great value.”
