Art For Sale, Benefiting a Worthy Cause

Start your own fine art collection and support a local nonprofit at the same time!

“Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?” is a coin operated, vending -exhibition (named after a popular song commissioned during the Great Depression). The vending machine dispenses art work donated by local and regional artists with the purchase of a $5 token (available in the department of art office room 322).
100% of proceeds will be presented to the Carroll County Soup Kitchen at the close of the fall semester 2011.

This project, in conjunction with the exhibition: Carrollton Collects: Prints from the W.P.A., is located in the Bobick Gallery, Humanities Building and was made possible by a UWG faculty research grant. The vending machine will be available M-F 9-4pm during regular gallery hours, and during the lecture series scheduled to coincide with the WPA exhibition.
