UWG's On-Time Registration

Who:	All current UWG students who wish to take Summer and Fall 2012 classes.
What:	The registration schedule can be found on the Registrar’s Office webpage www.westga.edu/registrar or in The Scoop at http://www.westga.edu/registrar/index_15571.php.
When:	Begins March 26, 2012 and runs until Open Registration begins on April 9th.  On-Time Registration and Open Registration will close on April 25th.
Where:	You must see your Academic Advisor before you can register for courses in your secure Banweb account.  Check your account after seeing your advisor for any HOLDS and resolve any issues before your registration time.  Any issues you encounter after you begin the Banweb registration process can be directed to the UWG Enrollment Services Center in Parker Hall.
Why:	This is your opportunity to get your first choice of classes for Summer 2012 and Fall 2012 ahead of the crowd and to avoid the last minute rushing and stress.  On-Time Registration is also beneficial because you avoid getting the LATE FEE.

LATE REGISTRATION Notes:

SUMMER 2012:  Any UWG Current Student will get a $75 late fee if you wait until May 3^rd to begin your registration for Summer 2012.

FALL 2012: Open Registration will re-open May 3^rd—July 27^th for Fall 2012 without a $75 Late Fee.  Fall Late Registration begins August 2^nd and does have the $75 Late Fee if you wait until this time to begin your registration for Fall 2012.

Current Seniors & all Graduate level students - Mar. 26
Current Juniors ss# ending in 50-99 – Mar. 27
Current Juniors ss# ending in 00-49 – Mar. 28
Current Sophomores ss# ending 50-99 – Mar. 29
Current Sophomores ss# ending 00-49 – Mar. 30
Current Freshmen ss# ending 25-49 – Apr. 2
Current Freshmen ss# ending 00-24 – Apr. 3
Current Freshmen ss# ending 75-99 – Apr. 4
Current Freshmen ss# ending 50-74 – Apr. 5

Open Registration** – Begins April 9 and Ends at Drop/Add (see below)
Drop/Add Periods:Summer Session I - May 7
Summer Session II - June 4 & 5
Summer Session III - June 4 & 5
Summer Session IV - July 2
Fall Semester - August 20-25

**Registration will be closed during each fee payment processing period.  Check the Registrar's announcements regularly for more details. 

FEE PAYMENT DEADLINES for On-Time/Early Registration:

SUMMER 2012 – April 30, 2012 @ 6:00 (Minimum of Tuition & Mandatory Fees Must Be Paid)

                       June 06, 2012 @ 6:00 (for all students that owe a balance, 100% of charges must be paid)

FALL 2012 – July 30, 2012 @ (Minimum of Tuition & Mandatory Fees Must Be Paid)

                   August 28, 2012 @ 6:00 (for all students that owe a balance, 100% of charges must be paid)
