Student bus set to travel to NCAA Regional
Carrollton, GA - For the first time since 2005, the West Georgia men's basketball team will be suiting up in the NCAA Tournament, with the NCAA South Regional set to begin on Saturday. In celebration of that, the Student Activity Fee Committee has secured a bus to transport students for Saturday's game against Eckerd in Huntsville, Ala.
The bus wil depart from The Coliseum on the UWG campus at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, with no stops planned until Huntsville. It will transport students directly to to Spragins Hall for the 1 p.m. game and return to campus immediately following the Wolves' game against Eckerd.
An additional feature for students is that each fan that boards the bus to head to the NCAA South Regional will have no other expenses outside of food, which can be purchased at the concession stands at the game. The UWG Athletic Department will cover the cost of the ticket for each student on the bus.
