UWG officials express concern over gun bill

Depending on the outcome of Senate Bill 308, concealed weapons could be allowed on the grounds of the University of West Georgia.

Some students, faculty and staff, including the school president, however, have expressed concerns about the legislation.

  1. Now I know why SUWG picked Shirley Franklin to speak at commencement. She supports thugs by fighting the rights of legal law-abiding gun owners. More crimes occur in areas where there are more gun restrictions (DC, LA, Chicago, etc...). She said if past bills passed giving more rights to gun owners, it would be like the wild wild west. I don't see that at all Shirley, whose body guards by the way carried guns while she was mayor. Do the homework people and quit being hypocritical Shirley.
