Come check out Lisdoonvarna playing in the Nook on the main floor of Ingram Library! Free and open to the public! Event starts tonight, April 6, at 6 PM and goes on until 8 PM. 


About Lisdoonvarna:
"We began as a purely Celtic band, doing mostly traditional (and a few contemporary) Celtic songs. Later we decided to broaden our musical palette and added some non-Celtic music to our repertoire, including some soft rock, folk, oldies, and a novelty song or two thrown in for fun. We pretty much play whatever we all like and want to play, so it has become a little difficult to classify our band."

Welcome to the Space Jam!

Weekends at West Georgia invites all university students to come out and have some basketball fun! From 1-5pm on Friday, Feb. 3, students can challenge their friends in the Double Shot basketball and the Super Slam Dunk. Students can also take a photo with their basketball favorites.

Weekends at West Georgia will also be showing the movie "Immortals" at 5 pm on Saturday, Feb. 4, in the Campus Center Ballroom.

All Weekends at West Georgia events are FREE for students!

Students Enjoy Snowpocalypse 2012

Tau Kappa Epsilon along with Stay West Weekends put on the "Snowpocalypse 2012" event on Friday, Jan. 27. Students were able to play in real snow, enjoy free hot cocoa, and receive free t-shirts. Below are a few other pictures from the event.

Stay West Weekends Busy

Stay West Weekends is packed with several events this weekend.

Friday, January 27, will be "Snowpocalypse" presented by Tau Kappa Epsilon. The event will take place in Love Valley from 12-4pm and students can receive free t-shirts, free hot chocolate, and of course, real snow!

Saturday, January 28, will be "Dinner, Movie, and a Blanket" presented by the Students Activities Council. The event will be held in the Campus Center Ballroom and starts at 4pm. Come out and watch "Contagion" and receive a FREE blanket!
