Construction on the $5.1 million, 23,000-square foot University of West Georgia Bookstore is officially under way after a groundbreaking ceremony Monday afternoon.Despite 90-degree temperatures, school administrators, construction officials, students and bookstore employees braved the heat to dedicate the plot for store, located on the corner of University Drive and West Georgia Drive, across from the TLC building.
